Great and simple eyelash tip !!!
Wanted to share. Saw this online and now I do it daily.
For thick and full, lengthy looking lashes ...
...put on coat of mascara and then let it dry. Then use a q-tip and dab on some baby powder on your lashes. Then add another coat of mascara.
You can repeat again if you wish.
So simple and I love the results!
Just wanted to share :)

Me too! I did eyelash extensions once (I received a gift certificate for it) and LOVED the results but now I want my lashes to look like that
I have never curled my lashes, does that really help?

Yes !!! Always curl!!! Even better if you heat up curler for a few seconds with hair dryer

No damage at all in curling. It just curls them and makes mascara look better on, IMO. I can't live without my curler.
There's a poster here I met in real life - she had the most amazing lashes ever - so long and lush. I went home and fm'd her for her secret but sadly for me (and lucky for her) hers are just simply natural .

Great tip!!! I'm always looking for any tips to give me luxurious lashes!
My current mascara is actually REALLY REALLY good and people have asked me if i'm wearing lashes.

I don't heat my curler with a hairdryer but I do breathe on it first so it's not cold. Curl. Light coat from root to tip with mascara. Wait a few seconds for semi-dry. Curl for a 20 to 30 second count. Gently release. They will look strange but they still flatten a little in a minute or so. Then I take a lash brush and brush thru gently at the middle to separate.
Someone here gave me the curl-after-mascara tip and I've had great results!

Also, just want to say I don't know why we don't share photos of these things. A picture is worth a thousand words. One day I'll take a curl vs no curl photo and put them side by side and post it.

I think I am the only person on the planet that found curling my lashes did absolutly nothing for them.
I have almost non existant lashes though.
What DOES work wonders for me is a good lash primer first.
Makes ALLLLL the difference.
It's like magic- suddenly there are lashes where there were none before!

Not that I don't believe you but as someone that can't LIVE without their eyelash curler... I can't believe that curling them did nothing for you!
Did you get close enough to the base of the lashes? Did you heat the curler w/ the hair dryer? Did you use a good brand curler (I like tweezerman's)?!?
What primer do you use? I have tried that before, and found THAT did nothing for me.
I had lash extensions for my wedding / honeymoon and loved EVERY SECOND of them.
Excited to try the baby powder trick menioned by the OP. I do wear contacts though, so am going to have to be really careful...

I always curl too (heat it first). BUT anytime I add mascara it causes them to straighten?! If I don't use mascara they stay curled, just not as dramatic on color. But IMO they looked better natural, but curled.
Any tips on maybe a different mascara?

That was happening to me as well, I switched to Rimmel ScandalEyes Flex and started to wipe the brush against the inside before pulling it out, to get almost all the mascara off of it. I put a really light coat on, then curl. If it's still too wet, it will straighten out again.

I did this yesterday ! I do curl my eyelashes and use 2 mascaras. One for length and one for volume. I did notice a different with the powder.

Here's another tip...I use hair conditioner on my lashes when I'm in the shower and washing my face. Not every time but maybe 1-2x a week, although my g/f does it every day.
I have pretty good natural lashes but I always curl, too. I just got Buxom Lash mascara and I love it!
