Gyn recommendations please
I had my tubes tied in feb and since then have been having many symptoms that seem to be termed post tubal ligation syndrome (just looked it up today!). But my ob tells me that it can't be bc of tubal bc no hormones change, and it's just that I'm getting older (I'm 31). From researching, it seems that drs seem to say this to ppl who have these symptoms after a tubal.
I am looking for a rec of a great gyn who may be able to help me. I lost a lot of blood after my tubal, and almost needed a transfusion, so I feel like my drs don't want anything tied to the tubal,
Thanks.l.im willing to travel anywhere for a dr who can help me!

Gyn recommendations please
I am not sure where you live but, since you said you'd be willing to travel; there is a fantastic Gyn in Huntington village. Dr. Felicia Callan. She is very smart and actually listens to your concerns. So many dr.s these days talk over a person and make them feel like they are being rushed. Dr. Callan is very good. She's with North Shore Medical Group. Good luck to you!

What is this tubal ligation syndrome? I just responded to your other post as I have the same thin as you after having my tubes tied last year. I'm going to look this up today. Thanks for posting this!!

Those that see Davenport...did you see her when she was at SB gyn/ob? When did she move to the new group?
OP, I've heard good things about SB gyn/ob and they are def taking patients.

Gyn recommendations please
I really like my practice -- Women 4 Women. It's 4 female OB/GYN's and 1 female nurse practitioner. They are on Lakeville Road, right next door to LIJ's new Katz's Women's Hospital. I see (and LOVE) Dr. Nicole Bell.

Dr. Scott Berman. He left Three Village and just opened his own practice in Stonybrook/Nesconset.

Davenport has been at Three Village for as long as I know!
I wasn't a fan of Dr. Berman when he was at Three Village, but i only saw him once.

I would recommend my doctor, Dr. Marc Harvey. He is located at the ProHealth Associates location in Lake Success (New Hyde Park Area), close to LI Jewish hospital.
If you can't get him, any other GYN at the Prohealth location is good. Good luck!!

Didn't like him either.
Dr Vanessa Sovierro is great. In smithtown. Part of st Catherine's. she delivered my first baby. She knows her stuff and has great bedside manner.

Dr Dilena in Garden City, appts are fast and he is so gentle. He found someone another dr didn't see. Very helpful!
