Is your 4yo still in a covertible car seat?
I'm thinking of switching to a booster with a harness. DS is tall but skinny. Right now both our kids are in the Diono Radian.

My daughter will be 7 years old in 8 days and still in a 5 point harness. So is my other daughter that is almost 6. They both wont be switching anytime soon. They are both above 50% for height and weight for their age. They both have Graco Nautilus seats.

My son is only 3.5 but he is still in a convertible and will stay in it until he reaches the height and/or weight limit. The weight limit is 65lbs. so he has a LONG way to go there!

My 3 1/2 year old is in a booster with harness but, would have been in the convertible still if he didn't have a younger brother - and he will be in it until he outgrows it.

My 5 yo is still in his convertible as is my almost 4 yo. He hasn't outgrown his convertible seat yet but is getting fairly close. I'm thinking about getting the Britax Frontier 85 SICT when it's time to make the switch but haven't made any decisions yet.

my 4 and half year old is still in his britax marathon. he is comfortable in it. when he is 5 i think we will switch. he barely weighs 35lbs

Yes , he is almost 5 but not 40 lbs yet  I am going to buy the new britax 5 PT harness booster, or the recaro harness booster. Not sure yet

Yes she is. She'll be 5 next month
It fits her fine so I have no reason to move her. She is 'getting there' and when she gets too tall I'll move her to the Recaro Booster. Still have some time (unless another growth spurt hits us)

DS will be 4 in a couple of months and will continue to be in his convertible seat. He is 41inches and 40 pounds.

yes...DS is almost 4 (october) and fits fine still in the convertible seat.
ETA the seat goes up to 65lbs for the harness so he'll be in there for awhile. one reason i bought this seat. then the booster goes to 100lbs. i have the evenflo symphony 65

I just had my car seat checked by the town of Hempstead and they said he was too big for convertible and he needed a booster with a five point harness so we just bought an Evenflo

DS was switched to a booster on his 6th bday. DD is 7 and will be in her convertible seat for a while still. I'm never in a rush to move DC to less secure seating.

At 4 1/2 my son outgrew the seated height of the Britax Boulevard. He was and is very tall (over the 99% for height). We went for the Britax Parkway HBB with latch to 100 lbs. Our car can support that as well. I am going to keep it as a high back booster for a long time. [EDIT to add DS will be 6 in a week and he is 4'2"]
DD is almost 4 and I have no plans to switch her out of her Britax Boulevard any time soon. She is only in the 70% for height and 65% for weight so I plan on keeping her in it for a while longer - likely until she is at least 5 years old.
