day care centers in Suffolk?
I live in Miller Place, work in Hauppauge. Looking for day care centers somewhere near either town or somewhere inbetween. Any suggestions/recommendations? (oh and prices too would be super helpful!!)

A few people I work with use Learning experience in mt Sinai and are extremely happy
I'm going there tomorrow to check it out.
The problem is, we are on a tight budget. But a lot of these places won't give you prices over the phone. So I have to go and visit all of them in person where if they just told me their prices I could save time by eliminating the ones who are too expensive!

I've heard great things about them too. If you want pricing info, search the name of the center here and ask people to share. So many people were helpful when I was looking.

DD is 2 and has been going to Kiddie Academy in East Setauket since she was 3 months old. She loves it and so do I.
Check them out.

day care centers in Suffolk?
My girls have gone to Small Wonders Day Care in Hauppauge since they were 4 months old. We love it. It is in the State Building. The staff is excellent.

Do we know each other(sort of)? What's your child's age? My DD went there from 3 mos til this past June, now it's time for Kinder. It's so bitter sweet.

DS went there when we lived in that area and we loved it! Gina, the director is amazing. Prices are standard for daycare if I recall...about $1200 per month, full-time for a baby.

I highly recommend Stony Brook Child Care! It is on SBU campus but you don't need to be affiliated with SBU to go there. They run about 1200$ a month for full time with baby but they have a sliding fee scale based on family income. http://www.stonybrook.edu/childcare/
