Weber grills - anyone have and are they worth the $?
We need a grill and are looking at Weber's due to their reputation. Anyone have one? Experiences please.

Weber grills - anyone have and are they worth the $?
I have one and I highly recommend the brand. We had another band previously and the burners rusted out in under 3 years.

Weber grills - anyone have and are they worth the $?
We have a Weber that my dad gave to DH about 9 years ago after my parents split up and it was probably about 3 years old at that point (Possibly even older!)
DH had it at his parents house where we lived and we used it frequently in the summers. When we moved into our house, we took it.
I think we had to change one part on it last year but it was easy to do (for DH lol). So for this reason alone, I'd say they are worth it.

Weber grills - anyone have and are they worth the $?
We've had ours 12 years, and besides replacing the grills last year- we have done nothing to it. We use it a lot also. Only reason I would replace it would be for a larger model.

We've had one for about 9 years, we did no maintenance at all on it. This year DH gave it a good cleaning, replaced the grates & some other piece. Its like a brand new grill. It will probably last us a few more years.

Otherwise you are replacing them or fixing them every 2-3 summers.

My dad gave his Weber to my sister and she gave it to me after they bought a new grill. My dad says it was the best grill and so does my SIL and this is after they both bought fancy new grills. DH changed the grates on it because they were so old, but it works wonderfully!!

our weber grill survived hurricane sandy. it was actually the only thing we own own on ground level that survived, including 2 cars! was totally submerged, and you cant tell at all. so i say yes.

We had one for 9 years and just replaced it with another one this summer. The grill on the old one still worked perfectly, it was just getting pretty rusted from being out in the elements all year round for 9 years!! Definitely recommend!

Yes. We were given a 10year old one and it is perfect. May pass it on to someone else next year when we do masonry work in the yard.
