CD? IRA? I have no idea
My husband and I are coming into money but we don't want to do anything with it. Should we put it in a CD? IRA? Anything else. What would you guys recommend?

Why don't you want to do anything with it? Do you plan on using it in the near future? Are you just unsure of what you want to invest in? A CD will tie it up for a certain period of time. An IRA should be a long term investment.

CD rates are horrible right now. An IRA is not a bad idea or an annuity! Talk to a trusted financial planner for your best options.

an ira for sure! CD rates are a joke so I wouldn't waste my time. An annuity may be a great option but annuities can be really pricey... if you decide to go this route, remember that your advisor will be receiving the highest commission from this particular vehicle so be careful!!!
