Balloon sinuplasty

I am considering this procedure as I have suffered from terrible sinus headaches for over 4 years now.... I am pretty sure I will do it but I would love to hear from any one who has had it to see what their experience was like!

anyone?!

My dad had it this year. All I know is that he complains about his sinuses a LOT less. I will see him this weekend, if you want me to ask any specific questions, FM me.

Oh wow! That is great!
Did it hurt? What was recovery like? It was quick, right?Anything else you would have wanted to know before doing it?

I had a bunch of sinus stuff done..

Sinus reduction
Balloon Sinuplasty
Nasal Polyp removal
Deviated septum fix

The balloon sinuplasty was the easiest of them all. If you're really in pain, go for it!

It wasn't bad at all. I had it done in the hospital with local anesthesia with sedation only because I get a little freaked out by medical procedures. The worst for me was the anticipation. The procedure itself really was no big deal. I had a little bleeding after and very little pain. Tylenol took care of it. DH had it done in the doctor's office. He drove himself, came home and rested that day and was fine by the next day. The best part is that I had at least 4 or 5 sinus infections in the six months prior to the surgery and now since the surgery I have had NONE!!! Same with DH!
