Hanna Anderson, Ralph Lauren, Crew Cuts (JCrew), Bloomies/Nordstroms, Janie and Jack, Lesters, Tutti Bambini, Bella Bliss...That is in addition to the places you mention. I get staples (leggings, shorts, jeans etc.) at Gap, Old Navy and Children's place and the rest at the above stores. They are more pricey but, have sales all the time and the clothes hold up MUCH better! HTH!

My grandma is a shopper and buys the cutest stuff from marshals (Ralph Lauren) or lord and Taylor.

I don't discriminate when shopping at stores for dd. I shop at low end stores and high end stores and to be quite honest, I get the most compliments from the clothes I get at Sears! Yup, I said it! I also like Burlington's in Stonybrook. I love their selection!
Online: I shop at etsy and Zulily's!

They aren't necessarily more expensive it depends on your luck. I get mini boden, tea etc for less than things at gap, old navy, gymboree etc. We have a lot of hannas but I wait until they are like $15 or less than $20. Then try to use a coupon sometimes you can use on sale items. They hold up with constant washings and look like new after 20 wearings. L&t with coupons on clearance racks I find heartstrings swimsuits for $6-12, ralph lauren dresses for $12. I agree staples from childrens place like skorts or bikers shorts/short shorts for under dresses when they are $3-4. I do well jeans wise at L&t with guess, ralph lauren and few other brands. The key with L&t is to hit it when they have the $20 off if you spend $40 ( sometimes there is no minimum to get $20 off).

I get the basics at Gap, Old Navy, Children's Place, Target, & Kohl's. But I also buy quite a bit from Macy's, Nordstrom's, Mini Boden, & Zulily. Once in a blue moon I will find some stuff in Denny's, but that's not often.

Gap
Old navy
Tj Maxx
Marshalls
Burlington Coat Factory
Carters
Children's Place
My sister buys him stuff at Century 21
Im in Northern NJ and the Marshalls and TJ maxx have a lot better selection than NYC I think. Atleast that's what my cousin tell me, she is in Queens. Sometimes Ill get stuff online if I see a sale and deal. Several months ago, end of winter Polo had $12 shirts. So ill grab here and there.

I try to use the sale rounders and bring a coupon. I also shop at the end of the season for the following year to cut down costs. At this age, they don't need the latest fashions to be "cool." I figure if I can save my money now it will help when they are older and want other items.
Other places that I see in the mall but I don't shop at: Najarte, Mini Boden, Crew Cuts.

I sell a line of clothes called Vintage Couture. I also like shopping at Nordstrom (not as expensive as you would think) and lots of places online for brands like Giggle Moon, Swanky Baby, etc...

I pretty much stick to Children's Place, Oshkosh, and believe it or not Marshalls. I got DS some Ralph Lauren swim trunks and Dd a cute Juicy Couture bathing suit the other day.

I get basics at Children's Place (shorts and pants for my guy and their denim fits my kids well) and Gap (tshirts, leggings). Some old navy. Carter's usually for PJs while they are 5 and under.
Then I fill in with Crewcuts, brands from Off 5th and Last Call, Nordstrom and some brands from Lord and Taylor and Bundle NYC.
