2 week old and going out
DS # 2 is will be 2 weeks old on Monday. He is such a GOOD baby, nothing like his brother was as a newborn.  DS # 1 is 23 months, and after initial jealousy in the hospital, he has been so wonderful the past few weeks. DH and I would like to do something special with him tomorrow- we were thinking the Queens Zoo. Would you take the baby? We would leave him in the infant seat/snap and go and have the seat covered. I had DS # 1 in stores by 2 weeks but for some reason I thinking the zoo is a bit different? I can't leave him with my parents, I am nursing and haven't introduced a bottle yet. I really want to take DS # 1 somewhere tomorrow, we've pretty much at home the past 2 weeks. WWYD?

I plan on taking my 3 week old to the holtsvilkee ecology center in tues. I think anything outside is ok... It's going to be so nice out!!

I think I might wear the baby and keep him closer to me if I went.
Not really sure how more/less effective that will be against germs, but you might be able to nurse in the carrier without the constant in and out. Good luck!

I would go...I am due in July and will probably be out and about with my other kids and the baby within a week. I would keep the baby in the carrier. It will probably be nice for you to get out too...it always made me feel "human" again!

My son just turned 3 weeks old and he has been to the holtsville zoo already...i just kept him in the stroller
