HIMYM (spoilers)
I thought the entire episode was weird up until the part where Barney tells Ted that he's really all alone/imagining things. It was so sad - I felt so bad for him. I loved everything after that...

I thought it was a weird episode and sad at the end. I hate that they are turning him into a sad, lonely mess before he meets her.
After all this hype there is no way it won't be a disappointment when he finally meets her.

i'm honestly so bored with this show. ever since marshall's father died i feel like the story line went to sh*t. i am only watching because i put all these years in watching it and i want to see how it wraps up.

Each week I get excited that it may possibly be good and I end up being disappointed.

My DH and I were discussing the show at the end when he runs to the mothers door.
Ted basically says "You know what I would have done... I would have went to your mothers door and introduced my self then just so I would have those extra 45 days with her."
We think that the 2030 kids hearing the story is because the mother is dead or Ted is dying. The line about "just 45 more days with her" ..... made us think that.
UNLESS it is just because Ted loves the mother that much. The only reason I said that may NOT be true is because the kids look like they don't want to be there and if it was one of those scenarios then they would looked a little happier.

I teared up.
And we KNOW he meets the mother at the train station after Barney and Robin's wedding.
She played in the band, and was holding the red umbrella at the train station. They already said Ted met her at the wedding.

I think I misheard - I thought he said something like "You already know what I did," but if he said "would have done" then it makes sense.
