Receiving calls for former owners of your home???
A few times in the past 4+ years we have lived in our home we have received phone calls for the former owner of our HOME (not of our phone number). The woman had been deceased since before we bought the home.
Im assuming that they must some how be getting our phone number from our address? Its been mostly charities calling for her. But I still find this strange.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Not phone calls, but we keep getting mail from the old owners - which is really weird because we didn't for a month or two and now they're starting to (as if the person changed their forwarding mail to their old home). Super annoying.

I've been in my house over ten years and sometimes still get calls for prior owners. The businesses use a reverse directory (get a phone number from an address instead of a name) and call that way. I just tell them there is no one here by that name - please take them off the list.

YES!! Do you get an automated machine that asks for one of the old owners? I've been getting this lately all the time. Which is weird because I thought you get a new phone number when you move...
On another note, we still get the old owner's mail too, their credit card bills and actual credit cards that they had opened up recently. So weird.

i've been in my home for 7 years and we get mail for the previous 2 owners daily.
cards, bank statements, credit card bills.

We get mail occasionally (which I send back Return to Sender) but never phone calls. Any annoying calls we get ends up getting blocked.
