Hi my dd is 6 weeks old and has very weird looking gums. They are bumpy looking and I feel like I can see them very easily when she opens her mouth to cry/smile/etc. They just look strange to me. I tried looking back at pictures of my son at this age to see what his gums looked like but I can't really see them in any pics. Hers are easy to see and are bumpy, not smooth. I asked the pediatrican about that and she said that it's fine, it's just the way her gums look.

I just dont want it to eventaully effect her speech or feeding. She is a great nurser (latched on right away) but when I've given her bottles, she drools a lot of it out (it comes out the side of her mouth).

Has anyone had anything like this? I don't know if it is something I should be worried about.
