Pasta - which brand?
DS is almost 10 months old and I wanted to start pasta with him. What brand of pasta is good for kids?

whatever is on sale! 
I refuse to spend more than a dollar on a box..so i stock up when I see a dollar or less!
I do love this brand..they have a lot of the popular shapes in a smaller size! Less cutting I have to do! =)

Trader Joe's organic whole wheat pasta (penne or fusilli). I find you have to cook whole wheat pasta just a bit longer to get it really soft.

Those who make pastina... U just give it to DC plain? How does that work? I thought of adding a little butter just to make it not sticky but that will be a major greasy mess.

We do Barilla vegetable and Barilla Plus. Trader Joe makes this really good brown rice fusilli.
As for the pastina, we usually do butter and Parmesan cheese.

Boil it in chicken broth... Makes a great thick soup.

I use to boil it in water then mix it with a touch of butter and grated cheese. Sooooo yummy. DD loved it!!

DD loves it with pureed squash. I've mixed with different a lot of different veggie purees.
