Need help - funeral flowers
My step mother's sister died out of state and I wanted to send flowers on behalf of my brothers and I. Three of us are married with kids but I don't want to put to many names or last names because that will be confusing. Wanted to also sign with my maiden name so I was thinking this:
i.e. The families of John, Mary, Bill & Joe Smith
or
John, Mary, Bill & Joe Smith & families.
My brother suggested to do my dad's name and families like:
"Will's kids and families" (not sure about that one!)
HELP!! Need to order today!!

Even though I know what you mean in the first one it technically sounds like it is from just your families, not you , your siblings, and your families.
Either of the second two are fine, but I guess the second one is more formal sounding .
