We usually use Aveeno and it helps so much!

Cetaphil in the big tub!

I have heard ceraVe is good too.

I also do some other things to help my kids - only cotton clothing! Polyester really makes it flare up. A little baking soda in the bath. Chat Icon

Re: eczema cream

When DS gets really bad I put on a steroid cream that was prescribed from the doctor. I only put it on really bad spots. I treat the rest of his skin with coconut oil and cerave cream.

eczema cream

When DD's gets bad I also use a prescribed steroid cream. Twice a day for ten days. I feel like once it gets to a certain point, no amount of lotion or oil seems to help it. I use aquaphor every day to keep it at bay.

We've been using aveeno baby exzema cream. It's helping. She has her well baby visit today so we'll see what they recommend.

Re: eczema cream

Cerave is amazing. We tried everything. Prescriptions, over the counters and this is the only thing that worked.

We use the one in the tub.

I use Aquaphor for DS. When it gets really bad then I use the prescription cream that the Dr gave us. I find that if I put tons of aquaphor on every night it helps to keep his skin from getting really bad.

Re: eczema cream

we used everything on the market and the ONLY thing that worked was Arbonne's ABC baby lotion andbody wash. I can't explain it but the difference was literally over night and by night 3 - it was nearly gone. PM me for more details

Regular but def get the one in the tub. Is there anyway she has a dairy allergy? Ds had horrible eczema as a newborn. I did a lot of research and I came across a lot of things saying that there is a link between the two. Sure enough, he was diagnosed at 6 months.

She was always on regular formula and never had a problem...she is 2 years old now and only breaks out sometimes so I don't think that's the problem but I will bring it up tomorrow at her appointment thanks for the suggestion

cerave in the tub, not pump. It's just a general kind, not a specific kid version.
