What to pack for baby - hospital bag

With 4 weeks to go I have packed all of my stuff but I'm not sure what clothes to pack for DD.
Long sleeve onesies or short for while she's in the hospital? And how many?
She has her going home outfit so that's off the list.
Also do I bring hats? Blankets? How many?

TIA

I would just pack a coming home outfit fot the baby. The hospital will dress the baby in onsies and typically the baby will be swaddled. But if you want to I would pack 1 short sleeve and 1 long-sleeve onsie juse in case. Good luck!

When we are ready to come home, I will have DH bring her coming home outfit which includes a hat and a blanket.

No need for clothes at the hospital they will dress the baby in a shirt or onside...we brought hats last time but they don't keep them on the babies in the nursery for the most part. A blanket for swaddling is good for a backup if you want ;)

The only think I packed for the baby was a take home outfit and a burp cloth. While in the hospital I didn't dress my DD, she stayed in hospital clothes. They provide hats, blankets, clothes.........everything you need. I really didn't pack anything for the baby.

The onesies that our hospital used were huge! They swam on DD. So, you might want to bring one or two in newborn size.

I'm only bringing a take home outfit and blanket since its cold out.
In terms of onsies someone told me to get those special shirt things that have the space for the umbilical cord bc you'll want those the first few days

Don't pack too much for the baby. A boppy if you'rebfeeding, A hat you really like, a coming home outfit, is really all you need. But make sure you pack your favorite pads for yourself because the ones the hospital gives you stinks!!!!

Side snap onsies are a must for the first few days. This is what they give you in the hospital. We ended up bringing one the second day because the one they had her in she was swimming in it. So we brought a NB sized one. But you don't really need anything for baby. Just coming home outfit.

I brought wipes for 2&3. My hospital only gives the dry cloths to wipe them with. After a c/, the first few days, I was annoying to have to walk to the bathroom to get them wet for every diaper change.

You don't need anything for the baby, but I am going to bring some of my own things. The hospital gives you diapers, "wipes", ointment, side snap onesies, hats and blankets. I brought my own clothes for DD to wear when people came to visit in the hospital and will do that again for this baby. Might bring wipes too. And I think some hospitals don't give pacifiers anymore, but I don't plan on bringing one.

bring TWO take home outfits. so glad I did with my son because he pee'd through the first one minutes after we put it on him.

if you are unsure on size of the baby, bring a newborn and a 0-3.

we also brought (for DD) 2 headbands, a few little hats, 2 swaddle mes and a muslin blanket.

winthrop does not provide pacis any longer.
