Can Dogs Sense Pregnancy??
My dog has become very clingy the past 2 days... More than usual lol! I also dropped him off at the groomers which he normally does and he hesitated when the lady grabbed his leash... He turned and looked at me like he didnt want to leave my side. He's been following me everywhere I go around the house too... I wonder if they can sense pregnancy? Maybe he's trying to protect me? I dunno if this is far fetched or not

i've heard mixed things about this. my sister and I are both pregnant. i don't have any pets, but she does. her dog hasn't acted any differently with either of us.

I think they can. I don't have a dog, but when I was pg with DS, we went camping and another couple brought their dog. That dog didn't leave my side the entire camping trip and sat next to me guarding me the whole time.

Definitely!!! My dog has always been a daddy's boy and since I've become pregnant he will not leave my side. If the three of us are in the same room he still sits with daddy but if I'm in one room and DH is in another, Linus is right by my side.
Funny story, Wednesday I came home early from work with a REALLY bad migraine. The minute I walked in the door Linus grabbed his stuffed animal and waited by the bedroom door. He has NEVER done this. I laid down in the dark and he slept right next to me until daddy came home!!! it was sooooo cute!!!

Yes, I definitely think so!! We had a dog when I was pregnant with my DS. We took him to the dog park when I was in my first tri and I swear I looked like Bruce Almighty when I stepped foot through the gate LOL. All of these huge dogs were all over me, so much so that I had to step out and leave DH in there with the dog!

Can Dogs Sense Pregnancy??
My dog refuses to go for walks when I was pg. he needed to be within eye site of our house.
After DS was born and our dog is back to walks

I think animals can. The day before I even found out I was pregnant, I was at my accountants and his cat kept coming up to me. He said his cat usualy runs and hides. Maybe his cat was just acting weird that day. Idk.

Lol I am only 6.5 weeks so I can't say for sure, but my dog has been jumping all over my belly since we got her in September.
I keep telling myself she doesn't know any better, but now I am thinking she might be trying to tell me something.

Can Dogs Sense Pregnancy??
I used to walk my dog every day, and before I even knew I was pregnant I noticed she was acting very strange during walks. She was constantly looking behind her and in all directions as if to make sure no one was coming up behind us. She even tried to pull me in the opposite direction of a man getting out of his car when she normally would have tried to pull me towards him, lol. When I found out a few days later that I was pregnant I remember wondering if maybe the dog knew before I did.

I have 2 dogs and a cat, the dogs haven't acted any differently but the cat has changed dramatically...he never cuddled and lately he follows me and lays on my belly!
