DD2 is 7 months and I am still losing it in clumps. We've had to have the plumber snake the bathtub drain COUNTLESS times in the past few months.
Are you still taking your prenatal? That seemed to help after my first daughter, but this time it's not doing much.

Im 10 pp and i still shed like crazy. I have no idea how im not bald yet. Its actually gross how much of my hair falls out.

I'm still taking my vitamins.
Before I was pregnant my hair would shed but not like this. I'm shocked I don't look bald. I miss my pregnancy hair.wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Mine stopped when I stopped BFing at 6.5 months. Not saying that will be the case for you though.
I was losing so much that when I went to the obgyn for my 6 month PP appointment, and was pulling my hair out in front of my doc, he told me to go to a dermatologist.

That's the thing. Your pregnancy hair looked so good and thick and shiny not due to the vitamins but due to the hormones. The pregnancy hormones make your body hold onto the hair longer- rather than shedding like normal.
So you wind up with thicker hair due to keeping it instead of shedding it day to day in small amounts.
Then as your hormones return to normal you start to shed all you hung on to for those 9 months.
So you really aren't losing hair and going bald or anything- you are just shedding the excess that you didn't shed while pregnant.
It slows down around 6-8 months.
Sadly, pregnancy hair doesn't last though. It was the ONE part of pregnancy that didn't make me look awful!

OMG I am right there with you. Hair is EVERYWHERE. has been since about 4 months pp. Juliet just turned 6 months...I think MAYBE it's subsided??? I'll let you know in a few weeks.
DH is just about ready to shave my head. My hair winds up in the oddest places!

Oh just wait for it lol. It didn't happen right away for me, took about two or more months for it to start and at 9 months pp it's just now starting to slow down

I was EBF and I actually thought (stupidly) that I was getting away without losing my hair since it didn't happen for quite a while. It was several months before mine starting falling out, although I don't remember exactly how long. It also lasted MUCH longer than I expected, which I thought might have something to do with BF and hormones still being wacky.
The worst part was the regrowth of hair all around my face/on top o my head. I had all these short little hairs sticking up that were impossible to tame for the longest time. NOT looking forward to this again!

I'm almost 8 months pp and it has stopped. I can't really remember when it started or stopped exactly but I think it was probably two months ago. Still ebfing.

This is why it happens. for me with the twins and BFing it started somewhere between 3 and 4 months pp. It is definitely a lot better, but I still loose more hair then I did. I'm 15 months pp still bf if that matters

I'm about 6 1/2 mths pp and my shedding has just decreased- finally!!!
I posted on the beauty board about it awhile ago and someone recommended-- jojoba oil. I've been using that for about a month now, so I don't know if that has something to do with it or what.
Also, my hair dresser recommended Nioxin. I'm going to try that too-- just cause my hair is so thin I could use all the help I can get.

I'm 13 months pp and still shed big ole hair balls and my hair gets super tangled. Although I'm not really sure if its bc of the pregnancy or bc I never have time to brush my hair anymore. Either way, I'm shocked I still have any hair left!
