Gel Manicure
Is it safe? I mean being that you put your hand under that light. I think the light is UV.

Not sure how safe it is but I love it... Was addicted to it for a while...I now only get to done on occasion and I try and remember to put sunscreen on my hands before I go

I put sunscreen on my hands before I go- but honestly I go so rarely that it probably would never be an issue
Also- they sell something you can put on your hands- kind of like a fingerless glove, to protect them from the UV light... google it..I think amazon has it.
I would also recomend trying the Shellac mani- just as good as gel, but less harsh on your nails!

I get the shellac manicure and I also put my hands under the UV light. I use gloves that are made for that. You can get it on Amazon. Someone posted about it on the Fashion Board and they are awesome! They were only $6!
