Leann was AWFUL!!! Why did they pick someone so irrelevant to pop culture???
It seemed like Carly kinda knew Leeann was awful and just didn't know what to do with it.

there was one point when leann messed up and carly didnt know what to do so she just stopped singing. and then they showed that part in the recap!
demi was great with 5H. I hatedddd "let it be" though.
and when tate sang with the country music group (clearly i'm not a country fan haahah) i feel like he didnt sing at all.

I didn't catch this either! I agree that the group did great last night. I really liked their first song A LOT!

Anyone watching X-Factor??
LeAnn was a mess. She looked awful and sounded worse. I felt so bad for Carly. She is so amazing but even she couldn't make LeAnn sound good.
5th Harmony was really good last night but I still think Carly deserves to win. She was flawless all season until stupid LeAnn.

Anyone watching X-Factor??
Tate is a great county singer and he might become very popular but there was something about Carly that was just unbelievable. She is only 13 and can sing so perfectly with such a beautiful and uncommon sound. I just thought she deserved to win so much more than Tate.

I am so disappointed that Tate won. I think she deserved to win, but like DH said...he had the middle American, country vote thing going for him. Still so disappointed. I'm pretty sure though that someone will sign Carly Rose - she's phenomenal.

Well, I was hoping Carly would be first... then 5th Harmony... then Tate. So, none of the results worked out how I had hoped. None! Ah well.
I thought Tate seemed like a nice person, a sweet husband, and in that sense it's nice that he won... but this is a singing competition and I thought Carly absolutely blew him away. I'm just not a country fan and I wouldn't buy or listen to his music.

I agree with this. The more I think about it though, I'm kind of glad he won. I feel like he needed to win to make it. Carly will STILL have a career regardless. I guess in this economy, I'm glad the middle America guy with a family to support won over the 13 year old from affluent town in Westchester who didn't NEED the money the way he did kwim. Straight singing though and all other points removed, she blew him away!

Carly was my fave throughout the competition and I was hoping she would win, but I agree with this and she will definitely get a recording contract! i thought tate was good, but im not into country so i dont really know much about that genre.
i also was very  with the whole leann thing - they just sounded SO horrible together!

That's actually a really good point you made, I happen to agree!
This is how I feel EXACTLY! She is 13 and has a lot more years ahead of her...she is pretty much set. He could use the 5 mil now :)
