New Katz Women's Hospital... did anyone deliver there?
I'll be delivering my DC there, I wonder how it compares to the old LIJ....

New Katz Women's Hospital... did anyone deliver there?
A family member did last month! She said it was great. It was her 1st dc, but when I went to visit her it was one million times nicer then when I had DS 10/2010!! I can't wait to have DC#3 there in January!!

I was induced and it took 48 hours, and we were in a room with boarded up windows and a tiny crappy tv.
Then, even though I had my own room post delivery, I had to share a bathroom with 2 other woman, and it was not pretty.
So basically, it has to be a million times nicer now than before - I think it is all private rooms and private bathrooms.

I havent delivered yet but I've been ther 4 times 
Every room I was in didnt have windows (this was not the pp unit), they have private bathrooms, huge flat screen tvs and the nurses have been pretty awesome! im sure the pp rooms are even better.

I have a friend that has been there for weeks on bed rest and holy moly it's like a hotel. It's GORG!!
I am delivering my next baby there for sure!!

New Katz Women's Hospital... did anyone deliver there?
Loved it. Delivered my twin boys there in may. The labor room is huge and so comfortable. Plus you own private room and bathroom. Waay better than when I gave birth in 2010 with my DD when I shared a room with 4 others!

I delivered there last April. The facility was amazing. I felt very comfortable especially in my post delivery room.
However, I did have a bad experience with the nurse I had for delivery as well as the Anesthesiologist. They were both a-holes. It just made me realize that you can be in the most advanced and beautiful facility but the people can bring your experience down a lot.
With that said, everyone I dealt with post delivery was wonderful and I would still recommend the facility overall/
