Yeast Infection
Are they common during pregnancy.. I have had them before and I feel like I have one.. (itchy,etc) I guess just wondering if it could just be a symptom? or if its really a yeast infection. if so is there anything I can take thats safe? would I have to go back to doctor to confirm?

Yeast Infection
I was itchy almost my entire pregnancy and was a result of my hormones; i had to use a cream everyday. Once the baby was out, it went away....sooo annoying.

What kind of cream did you use? Was it prescribed by the dr or OTC?

Try using baby powder first. It may just be the hormones.

Nyastatin Cream ask your dr. if you can use that...its an Anti- fungal/anti itch cream...

i had one when i found out i was preggo. no FUN! i just bought the monistat kit and just used the cream. they gave me antibiotics but on the bottle it said consult your dr b4 taking if pregnant and it just turned me off to taking them even tho my dr prescribed them.

This.... I was prescribed it by the Dr. Used it ecery day from 20 weeks on. Itch was from discharge not yeast- Yuck! It works tho!
