Tablet HELP Fire, NOOK, iPad
I'm in the market for a tablet. Mainly for my daughter but I'd also like to be able to read on it.
I had no idea that non iPad tablets had apps etc.
Is one better than another? Would you recommend one for sharing with a child that has lots of apps? I'm leaning towards the Fire. TIA!

I'd get the new google one. I have a kindle fire and love it, but if I was going to get one now, I'd get the nexus 7 - it is the same price and does a lot more.

Cost effective for books and great apps is google nexus 7. You can always get kindle, nook apps for them.
Kindle Fire has a new kid mode but depending on the age, its not required to some extent.

We have a kindle Fire that my 2 and 4 yr old DD's play on all the time. The older one does prefer my husbands IPad though

you cant really go wrong with the iPad. you can add the kindle, nook app to it and even read PDF files.
tons of apple games, learning and fun games.

My hubby has the kindle fire and he loves it. My daughters enjoy their nooks. I love my ipad because I can watch my Optimun T.V. and netflix, and I have downloaded the all of the books from my husband's kindle fire and both daughters nooks. There's just so much more to enjoy on the Ipad. Good Luck

Thanks all. My budget is tight so the iPad is not an option, even though it is my opinion it's the best one out there.
