Bellmore Street Fair

Good morning!
Has anyone ever been to the Bellmore street fair? Is it a really big fair? It's this weekend and I want to take my 2 yr old son. Just want to know if they have rides for the kids and what else they have. I live deep into queens and not sure of the area, just wanted some info on it first.

Yes it is pretty big. The rides and games are set up in the train station. There is a bandstand usually set up in front of the fire house and then all of the booths and vendors are lined up along Bedford Ave. which runs through the town. We went last year with our 7 month old and had a great time mostly walking along Bedford, this year DD is 19 months and I anticipate we'll be spending most of the time by the rides.

I work it every year at our store. Saturday and Sunday Bedford ave is closed off from 10-6. You have all the store and merchants outside on the side walk. There is a amperage kids expo and I believe an expo too. That is all in the train lot by bellmore rd. also in that lot you will find all the crafts and what not. In the other train lot is we're the rest of the carnival is. It's a pretty fun day.
