she was around 6.5 mths I put it in straw sippy cup, it was cold but not too cold

I think my dr said 6 months, which is tomorrow! 
I am going to wait until after his appt Tuesday just to confirm how much he should be drinking.

6 months. I think it was room temp since that's the water temperature I used for her bottles.

Just before 7 months. It was from the filtered tap, so it wasn't cold but it was cooler than room temperature.

sippy cup at 6 months with water. She really just played with it at first and didn't start drinking until later on..maybe 7 months.
She always preferred the straw sippy cup. I like the Playtex straw sippy cups.
I just gave whatever water we had in the house (not tap). Poland spring..whatever we had

What age did you introduce water?
Straw cup (skipped sippys since straws are better for oral muscular development), room temperature brita water (like his bottles) and about 5.5 months. He never had water from a bottle, just the straw cup. Started with the small playtex little grippers cup and then moved to the big ones when he got the hang of it abput a month or so later

What age did you introduce water?
We got the "OK" at 6 mos, but DS had horrific reflux and spit-up issues, so we had him drinking the thickest formula you could imagine until he was about 7-8 mos old. I think we held off on water until he was 8-9 months.
