Sweet Sixteen venues
We are looking for venues for a sweet sixteen...
can anyone guide us - suggestions to Sweet Sixteen's that you have been to recently?
Price range?
restaurants that would be considered a good venue?
We would like to find a nice place in the $45 a person range - is this possible?
Thanks in advance for any information provided.
Edited to add - we live in East Meadow but willing to go into Suffolk. And maybe Queens

I know Vetro is pretty good on pricing for sweet16's. They are part of Russos on the Bay.

Plattdeutsche in Franklin Square is pretty resonably priced. My sister had her sweet sixteen there and I have been there for other parties as well, not recently though.

We had my stepdaughters sweet 16 at the knights of Columbus in Oceanside. They were in that price range. I have tons of pics in my albums.

I had my daughters at The Riviera in Massapequa. I felt they went above and beyond. The service was great. Food was good!

Sweet Sixteen venues
You didn't say where you live but we just had my daughters Sweet 16 this past Sunday night at Shandon Court in East Islip. It was amazing, they were so good to work with and the price was extremely reasonable - lower then what you were looking for. We paid $29 per person for buffet, soda only though. We didn't want alcohol near the kids. Their bar is right outside the door if any felt so obliged.
We also looked at The Sterling in bethpage. They do an all-inclusive package for around $5000.00 or so but includes everything (dj, centerpieces, etc...). It is beautiful there but we live in Bay Shore and wanted to keep it more close to home.

I have absolutely no idea on the price, but Carlton at the Palace in Plainview is really nice!

Sweet Sixteen venues
The manor east on the corner of 107 and broadway in massapequa. I had my 30th there and it was phenomenal.

bergen point golf course restaurant offers nice packages for sweet 16. they are now partners with Gemellis food in babylon which has great prices.

I can second this referral. We had my mom's 60th Birthday here and it was a great time, good food, nice place, affordable.

Today's Town Crier had an ad for Stuart Thomas Manor in Farmingdale for $3995 Sweet 16 (based on 75 ppl, incl. tax)
It includes: 4 hr buffet, DJ, Balloon Centerpieces, Giveaways, Lightshow, Cake, and more.
