Shopping Cart PSA
Shopping has lately become a nightmare, as my 3 year old DD hates sitting in the "baby seat" of the shopping cart, but tends to run away if I let her walk. When I have all 3 kids with me, I have been letting her go into the basket part of the shopping cart. She usually sits nicely, but lately she has discovered the joys of "surfing" in the cart.
That's what she was doing today when I hit the curb hard. She fell into the metal side of the cart, has huge bruises on her chest and I took her to the pediatrician. She has bruised ribs. They told me that they are concerned about bruising of any organs. If she has any vomiting or anything like that I'm to take her to the ER right away.
I can honestly say, I will NEVER put her in the back of the cart again!!

ughh..so sorry to hear this. Hopefully she's on the mend real fast.
i only have one who is going on 3 and likes to sit in the big part. some days its enough to just go to a few stores and do errands w/o the screaming fits. I feel your pain.

Awww I am so sorry this happened to your DD. Hope she has no issues tonight and is feeling better tom!
Thanks so much for sharing and giving us the heads up, after my food shopping tantrums today I could have totally done this myself.
