I'm shocked so many people want summer to end! I love the summer and mourn it when it's gone. Fall to me is hectic with back to work and school. Plus, it means we are that much closer to winter. I'll take lazy beach days over crisp weather any day!
When you hate the heat, as I do, saying goodbye to summer is is easy. Heat and humidity do nothing for me.
I love the crisp, cool air in the fall and I'm outside way more in the fall then the summer, it's so much more comfortable outside to do things then in the summer. The holidays are awesome. I feel like September is a fresh start, almost like a second New Years. I feel refreshed when summer ends. I love the cozy, warm comfort foods. I love to bake. I love decorating. I love the colors of fall. There is just so much to love about the fall that I eagerly await summers end. I don't miss it one bit when it's gone. 
And I actually don't mind snow either.

i have mixed feelings, especially this year.
my son will start his last year of high school
i'll be running my first marathon
i LOVE autumn, but now more than ever... i don't want to rush/wish time away

I was just thinking this morning that I would LOVE another good heat wave.
Heat waves never last long enough around here.
And in terms of fall clothes- all that fabric and bulk just makes me itch!

I hate fall. I really do. I hate the cool feeling. I hate the clothes. I DESPISE closed shoes.
With that being said, Yea, i love summer lol :) its too short for me tho. and i want another heat wave.

People want another heat wave???!!!.................nooooooooooooo!!!! That was torture this summer. I hope the weather stays like it is now and we just cruise into fall heat and humidity free.

YES! I LOVE the fall. I can't wait for it! I was in Yankee Candle on Sunday and all the fall scents are out and it was heavenly 
I love the weather, the colors, the change of decor around the house and pumpkin flavored everything!

Yes me too!! I dont feel like it has been that hot except the one heat wave we had!! I want the heat!! bring it on! haha!! More beach and pool days, more walks in the park and being outside..fall means winter and being trapped inside with 2 kids when its too cold to play outside and also cold and Flu season!!! Not looking forward to that either especially now that I have 2 lil ones!!

I'm torn. I love summer, I do but I love fall too! Fall is definitely one of my favorite seasons for sure!!!
I will say this, while I do enjoy the summer, I definitely enjoyed it a LOT more when I was younger and could spend my days at the beach, or at least going out at night after work . Also, since I've had my kids I feel like I just can't tolerate the heat as much! So, in conclusion...summer is good for me if I'm lounging poolside or beachside with a frozen drink in my hand. Summer is not good when I have to get on the subway that smells like hot garbage

As Colleen said last year, I want my fall baby here! (although it's early Sept. I still consider it fall lol)
I'm excited that I'll get to enjoy all the beautiful weather at home, with my  . I'm SO excited to be on mat. leave during the fall!!

I usually love the summer, but with a three week old, I can't do any fun summer stuff (beach, jet ski, etc) and it has been too hot to even go on walks (I am in NC). I am excited for the fall for the first time in a while (going for walks, opening the windows, etc) but I hate winter......so would like to skip straight to the spring
