Do you pay your sitter when you're on vacation?
Our arrangement was to pay her half of her daily/weekly rate but I will probaby give her 2/3 instead. Of course I'm paid for my vacation days so I'm wondering if I should pay her a full week. I don't know what to do. Do you give your sitter vacation pay?

Yes we pay her. She gets about 3 weeks vacation paid.
I always felt just because we are on vacation how come she shouldn't get paid. It wasn't her choice to take off :)

Thank you. That's how I'm feeling too. I have paid her for the days I have off but I haven't taken more than a day here and there in the last 8 months.

If that was the arrangement you made, I would stick with it... it was already agreed upon. We do not pay when we dont send them... We pay her cash, so I figure that is one of the perks since we can't claim it on our taxes... also, we often add days on throughout the year when MIL can't watch them so I figure it all evens out...

Our nanny gets 3 weeks paid vacation. We discussed this upfront.
