Nuclear Thyroid Scan in Children
Has anyones child had a nuclear thryoid scan? I know plenty of adults, but would love to hear from another parent their child's experience.
My 9 year old needs to have one and I am moderately freaked out about him swallowing a radioactive pill.

My son needed a nuclear scan of his kidney. They injected dye into his IV. Apparently it is not dangerous and leaves the body within a few days. Sorry I dont have more info
