If you order school supplies through your PTA
Do you make sure to have a new set of everything at home, too. It can't hurt, right? I think I have it all but should I take stock?  Obviously things like pencils are a given.

We order DS's supplies through the PTA. We have extras of the basics like pencils and crayons. He uses it at home anyway. I never had to bring in extra stuff though.

Thanks. I was out & bought extras of some of it. Who was I kidding? I love school supplies. I always loved a fresh school year with new supplies. I am not looking forward to this summer ending, though.

I love school supplies too! I always have a homework supply box at home with everything. The thing I need to replace the most with my kids is their folders. They wear out so quickly. Also it's good to send in supplies to the teacher in December when all their supplies are running low.

Yes! We replace folders a lot too! We buy them in bulk when they are a good price and keep them around. We still have left over from Kindergarten so in September when DS goes into the first grade, he will use those and we already bought more!

I've ordered my son's supplies through the PTA for K and 1st and have never had to replenish anything. I keep my own basics at home. Pencils, crayons, scissors, etc.
