I ended up in L&D yesterday...
but baby G is not here yet...thankfully...I'm not ready!!
I didn't sleep well at all Saturday night into Sunday and I woke up at 4am with a MASSIVE headache that left me in tears. The doctor had mentioned at last appointment that a bad headache was a sign of pre-eclampsya (something I am at risk for because of slightly elevated BP levels throughout the pregnancy). So I took my blood pressure at home and it was dangerously high. I called the dr. and she sent me straight to L&D to be checked out.
Once I got there my BP was high at first, but slowly stablized and I was able to go home after a few hours. I'm 37 weeks, so if they had to induce, it would have been okay, but I'm really glad they didn't have to yesterday. I'm not ready yet. I need one more week to wrap things up at work.
So now I'm on modified bed rest - thankfully I am set up to work from home so I can get some last minute things done. It was a scary experience, but I'm glad all is well.

Im happy to hear everything is ok with you and  ! Im sure that must have been scary... Im a week behind you, im 36 weeks, and like you i still dont feel ready... I feel like I still have things to do... Were almost there!

I am happy to hear you are ok ~ I was in L&D a couple of weeks ago and I was only 31 weeks ~ sooo scary! (especially when your not ready) Keep that baby cookin, your almost there though!

Oh my gosh!!! 
That is scary about blood pressure and I am impressed you can check your own BP at home!! Hopefully you won't have any more scares and Baby G comes closer to 40wks!

glad you were able to go home!! and that you're already set up to work from home so you can wrap things up! Take it easy, and hopefully you make it to 40 weeks!
