Newborn screening ?
My DS's newborn screening came back abnormal for cystic fibrosis. The doctor said it's very possible everything is fine but we have to go for the sweat test. Does anyone have any experience with this? Tia

I don't but I just wanted to offer some 
Did anyone test positive for CF when u were preggo? Both parents have to be a carrier o the baby can have the illness.

My dd also came back positive for CF gene mutation. I had been previously tested and found to be a carrier but my husband was not a carrier so my dr told me we didn't have to worry about dd having CF... But we now know shes a carrier like me. however they still made us go for the sweat test - we did it at Lij cohens hospital. She was 2 weeks old... Honestly It was not the best experience.. She cried her eyes out but I think it was more annoying than painful for her. Luckily it didn't last long and we fed her right after to calm her down. Good luck!!
