Anyone else TTC their 2nd DC?

I had DS in June of 2009. We thought we would be a "one and done" couple but recently have changed our minds. Now I feel pressure to try to conceive right away so that DS could have a sibling closer in age to him. As it is, he's already going to be 3 in June.

Anyone else going for their second DC? Anyone else feeling anxious about it? I wish I could just relax about it and let it happen. That is sooooo not me though!

yes! #2 for us and as the months go by, I feel like it may never happen

My son is two and ideally, I'd like two about three years apart but, it may not be in the cards. I am dealing with that.

i have a son who is 8 yrs old. we are tcc #2 for me, 1st for him. I never thought it would take this long. its been 11mths now and I am praying this month is it :) I was anixious in the beginning. now i'm excited and hopeful!!! we aren't giving up my hubby tells me all the time, when there are days i'll be like its not meant to be. he wants a baby as much as i do.

Yes and I feel the same way. So far we have 3 cycles of trying under our belts and it's getting to a point where we are mad we waited so long but at the same time we had to for many reasons. Trying for under 4 years apart so hopefully it happens for us soon. good luck!!

im on #4. my first and second are almost 7 years apart. My 2nd & 3rd are only 19 months apart- that was a suprise. my youngest is now 3 and we have been just seeing how it goes since last june- im shocked its taking this long. im trying not to get crazy & just keep the whenever it happens, it happens attitude.

#2 for me as well. This is our first week trying. With DD I got pregnant right away, I anticipate that happening again but I know I have to brace myself for disappointment. It is very stressful this time around for some reason.

We are trying ttc #2. We've been trying since DD turned 1. She's now 2.5

We're also TTC #2. DS turned 3 in January. It took just over a year to conceive him and now we're on month 7 for #2. I actually can't wait to never have to TTC again

Not TTC yet but thinking about starting to try in the next month or 2. DD is almost 21 months now and I would like them 2.5-3 years apart. It took us 7 months to get pregnant with DD so I don't want to wait too long but I also don't want to start too early in case it happens right away. ha

We are. We weren't calculating or anything until the past few months but never protected ourselves since having dc#1 2 yrs ago. I can't believe it hasn't happened yet. We didn't want to go back on bc, so we played it by ear. It wouldn't have mattered if we had another one right away but now that dd is 2 we are like lets go.

My cycles have been messed up. They were always 28 days, for the past 5 months, 23 days exactly, and now this month I should have had AF last week and nothing yet. I haven't tested, I figured I would wait another week. Hope this is it but not getting my hopes up.

DH and I said we were DONE after DC#1....

I brought up having another maybe 2 months ago. He wasnt really on board. As he thought about it though, he really got on board fast and now I feel a lot of pressure to get pregnant, which is so weird because I NEVER thought Id want to be pregnant again.

I understand what you mean about the age gap though. But think if it like this, it will probably be easier having a newborn since your DC will be a little older, but still young enough that the age difference wont be so drastic when they are older. KWIM?
