Where to stay and what to do in Lake George with one-year-old?
I've never been to Lake Geore and DH was only there once on business. We're planning a 4 day weekend (with a wedding in the middle) and are hoping to make a mini vacation out of it. I'm hoping to get some recommendations on where to stay. We want somewhere nice but keep it under $300 a night (hopefully less but if that's what it takes to get a nice hotel we'll spend it).
Also, what is there to do in Lake George? I know people go there for vacation so there must be activities, right? What would be good to do with a one year old? Can you recommend some good restaurants that won't mind a LO at the table? TIA!

We LOVE Lake George! My family has been going for over 30 years. My husband and I have been going together for 7 years. We went with DD since she was born (2 summers so far- 10 months and 22 months). This year with DD and our DS who will be 9 months. Where is the wedding? We stay in Bolton Landing which is maybe 15 min outside of Lake George village and we love it- we stay at the Bonnie View. The Sagamore is the nicest hotel up there- the others are more like motels with cabins through the property (that's ours- we get a 2 bedroom now that we have DD and DS). Check out the websites and feel free to FM me with questions. Bolton Landing has a TON of good/ family friendly restaurants.

we stay at the blue lagoon cabins. right on the lake.. no hills.. perfect for kids.
