Ladies 34 weeks and above - warning
I got ambushed last night at my doc appt! She had said (or I thought she said) that I would get the GBS swab at my 36 week appt.
Well last night I went in totally unprepared & ungroomed  at 34 weeks, 6 days and she did the swab! I was so embarrassed. I even blurted out, "oh....we're doing that today? I'm unprepared for it" 
So just a heads up...be prepared. the actual test was no biggie.
Now it's appts every week  I'm getting down to the wire

That's funny! I went in prepared at 34 weeks just in case but the doctor warned me about it for my 36 week visit. She was actually pretty funny and repeated about 10 times exactly what they would do. I'm guessing she has caught some people off guard and didn't want to do it again!

I got that done today, I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow. Holy s, it's uncomfy. I think I even went OHHHH as she was doing it!

Mine was somewhat a surprise also since they did it at 34 weeks. I had an idea that it would be coming soon so I was at least somewhat prepared...
And now the fun starts...exams every week. Bleh, I hate it. But the good thing is I only have a week left so one more exam! Then I don't have to do that again for a while!

I was told i was getting it at 34 weeks. I ended up going 2 days early as i was cramping and was not ready either .
It was not bad at all and all was good.
from now on though i will be prepared!! LOL

I see my OB today at 35.5 weeks and I have a feeling this is coming so I'm all prepared!! It was an interesting experience to prepare though !!
