I've heard the Paramount is great for shows. We're looking at the schedule now for future show!

I've heard the Paramount is great for shows. We're looking at the schedule now for future show!
It's a nice little venue, but their security SUCKS. They have zero control. We went there for a Korn concert and security just stood and watched while one guy was kicking some guy who was down on the ground in a fetal position. Not moshing, but a full out fight.
The seats are basically folding chairs on a platform, it's not like seating at MSG or the coliseum. You walk thru GA to get to the seats, and they don't check tickets. We actually bought seats but stood in GA anyway.

Wow I had no idea! DH did get into tonight's show.

We'll go back (we're actually going to see Manson next month) but I now know what I'm getting into.
I can't imagine what would happen if there was an emergency - I could see a trampling or worse. If whatever show we were seeing was full, (and the floor could easily be full since they dont check tickets...) we would probably stand in the back of GA just to be away from everyone since they have no control and easier to get out if necessary.

I just read on newsday that 5 people had to be taken out of there to Huntington Hospital after some dance show something or other there on Saturday night.
ahh it was Barstool Blackout night, that explains the tons of kids dressed in neon walking around Huntington Saturday night!

It was a great show. Although, the people in the mezzanine stayed in their seats. (I'm used to everyone standing up as soon as the band comes on.) No biggie, when Mountain Song came on I just walked up to the bar area and rocked out by myself. My husband and I had a great night. We had dinner at Besito, walked to the show, and were home by 11:30.

It was BEYOND amazing. I was down in the floor and couldn't have been happier. The place was AWESOME.
It was one of the best shows I've seen them play.
