micro SD card not being detected- please help me
Hi, I am sick over this does anyone have a positive experience with a memory card not being readable and being able to successfully retrieve the date? One of mine just stopped being recognized by any device and I cant even get to data recovery because nothing is acknowledging the micro disc. Can anyone help me, Please?

Once my DSLR did that but I took it out, put it back and in and then it worked. Did you try putting it back in for a 2nd time?

Thank you. Yes. I tired several times and a reader into several different..
I am sick over this and have googled and called everywhere I can think of but I am not making any progress and trying not to lose hope

Does the geek squad at Best Buy work on these things? It might cost some money, but if its really important stuff, it might be worth it.

Thank you, I called and they seemed to have no interest. I am going to go there and maybe someone will be more helpful than who I spoke with.

How are you trying to read it? Do you have a card reader or are you connecting to it via your camera?
yes I've had trouble reading it - mainly when my battery in my camera was low.

Thanks..having trouble trying ti id the manufacturer, its some generic that came pre-installed..I called sansdisc and they told me its not theirs

Micro SD cards usually come with an adapter (that is more universal) on the side is a sliding tab that lock the card from being written to for safety. Sometimes this causes it to not be detected by some devices. Have you tried sliding that tab?

Is it asking you to reformat? There was a program I downloaded once that allowed me to "reset" a camera card that I had accidentally deleted images off of.
I also sent my computer hard drive away to these people that do data recovery. It wasn't cheap by any means, but they only charge you if they can recover your data, and a micro SD card may not be that difficult to retrieve the data off of being that it is so small.

have youn gone to your providers store? When that happened to me with my AT&T phone, I went to the store and they were able to do something to restore it.
