Oh Emily!
Emily has these "fashion" glasses as she calls them---that she got during last school year. They are not prescription glasses. They are from Claire's and cost us $8. She just wanted glasses so bad because both DH and I wear glasses, and since she didn't need prescription glasses we bought her these and wrote a note to her teacher explaining that they weren't real, last year.
Well, fast forward to this year. She's pretty much gotten over the phase. I think she wore them to school once or twice and I didn't write a note, so I guess what happened today is my fault.
Today they did routine eye testing in the nurse's office. Emily told the nurse that she wears glasses, and that they were at home. The nurse said that they couldn't test her today without them, and she needed to bring the glasses to school tomorrow to make sure that they could test her then.
Oh Boy! Now the nurse and I am sure the teacher think that she really needs glasses!  I guess I should have wrote a note for this school year! And Emily needs to realize that she really shouldn't be trying to fool the teacher and nurse about her fake glasses! 
I'll be making a call to the nurse bright and early tomorrow!
