How would you react

At a party and Newly pregnant,so nobody really knows.
Holding my husbands beer. Someone I know takes the beer and takes a sip, to see if I was "lying" about not being pregnant. I was so shocked at how rude this was. was this person going to announce it to everyone? Now I am not excited to tell them I am pregnant.

Someone did this to me in the very beginning. They passed me a drink (vodka and something) to see if I was preggo or not. I fake sipped so the joke was on them . Some people are really too much.

I hate that. So rude. Obviously you are not ready to tell, why can't people respect that.

I think it is fine to quietly speculate to yourself, or even say something to a friend wondering "is she, isn't she?" but to call that person out when clearly they aren't telling?!?!

I knew they would speculate and that is fine, but to call me a liar and take my drink....too far.

I remember when my cousin was newly pregnant and was pretending to drink at a party....she actually went so far to act drunk. It was pretty hysterical

that's awfully rude! i'd be like and now that i passed your test.. now what, and had I failed, would you have announced for me? I'd let the person keep the drink and walk away..

I personally wouldnt care but then again I annouced pretty early and was an open book with all the issues I went through during my 2 year journey.

i however would never out soemone else that wanted to keep it a secret longer.

That's really rude. It's nobody else's business unless you choose to tell them. I would have been fuming!

What is the point of doing this??? It is not for anyone else to decide when someone should announce they are pregnant. I think it's rude for them to have done that, and I might consider giving them a piece of my mind after I did finally come out and announce.

But I have waited until after someone tells me they are pregnant to tell them that I already knew .

I think my reaction would be pure shock! It is unbelievable how inconsiderate people can be. Obviously if you aren't announcing that you're pregnant, then either you're not or you don't want them to know. Either way, bug off!
