Does anyone else feel like when you try to get out of bed that the baby is literally right there...it's actually a bit painful to get myslef out of bed.
I need my DH to roll me over sometimes. I have so much pressure/pain in my pelvis, stomach and back I feel helpless.
Kind of like a turtle on its back!!!

Yes I was definitely going more and was completely regular the whole pg (which was unusual for me to begin with!) so I know that's in preparation for labor. I lost my mp yesterday - not sure if all or just a piece. My back ahs been killing me! but not ona nd off like the Dr. said, just constant ache where I can't get comfy. Nothing else going on since then except some minor period cramps, just nothing consistent which is what i'm waiting for. This baby is waiting for his aunt to get back from NY this weekend before he comes out :)

My girlfriend has two children and she said with her second she felt this pressure and she said she thinks that is why he came out so easily...he was right there. Hopefully this is true!

How's everyone doing?
Still not feeling anything on my end so I'm off to a wedding on the water this evening. Maybe some good ole booty shaking will move things along. It would also get me out of my last week of work. Is anyone else working full time still?

I wish I was working full time! I've been so bored at home the past 2 months, that I'm going stir crazy!
I was having some bad cramping since 11:30 Friday night, so finally this morning I called and my DR had office hours. I went in to see him. I'm having mild contractions and am still 1cm.
I'm thinking if this is mild...I'm going to be a wimp with FULL BLOWN LABOR!!!!!
The contractions are very painful. There is nothing I can do. I'm going to try and get a lot of walking in this weekend. I go back Monday to see him and would like some Progress already!!!!

I'm still working f/t. I'm an L&D nurse so I decided to put myself on the monitor last night and to my suprise I was contracting every 2-4mins! I barely feel them though so they're going to need to get a lot stronger to get things moving

Dance that baby out girl!! I am contracting pretty often today but it's not too painful at all so I don't think this is 'it' just yet. Tomorrow is my birthday - maybe he is waiting for that :) Stopped working Friday since I'm due on tuesday. The Dr. offered to break my water last week, is that weird? I was like are you kidding me, right now? I wasn't prepared for that going into my 39 wk appt!!But this week I might take her up on it ;)

Any updates?
As for me, not much except for very inconsistant contractions. I think I started "nesting" yesterday because I stayed home from work because I didn't sleep at all the night before. I thought I would relax but I felt like I had to do a million things including making a big dinner.
I go to the doctor tomorrow night and see if I have progressed any.
Two more days of work and 5 days til my due date!!!!!!
How is everyone else doing?

I'm doing well for the most part.
Still extremely crampy. And today I have a killer headache that is in my neck.
I have tried lots of old wives tales about getting labor going and nothing worked.
Went to on the border last night for some Spicy Mexican food, well before I could finish my meal I was in the bathroom throwing it up. Which was really weird because I never do.
Then we walked around the mall and had sex. But I'm not in labor so what gives??!??!?!?!?! I have tried almost everything I have read and nothing is working!!!
Today I'm going for a pedicure. It should be nice and relaxing. I want my toes to look pretty for when I'm in the hospital lol.
Well that's my wednesday update!!!

I go for my 38wk appt this morning so hopefully I'll get some good news that something's happening. Been contracting for over a week now so but nothing major. I've done the sex and spicy food thing but it hasn't seemed to work so far.

P.S. I plan on treating myself for a pedi too after my appt!

My update: still not dilated  but 70% effaced now. Plenty of contractions but nothing painful. My dr. goes on vacation this sunday for a week so I hope I will go before then

I went to the Dr. today. I am due on Tuesday. He said I am about 1-2 cm dilated. Nothing else really going on, I'm still a little crampy, but nothing to get excited about. I think this baby will definitely be late! We'll see.

I have my second internal tomorrow morning. I have been having a lot of pressure "down there" and its hard for me to even turn over in bed. I am not due until the 30th but we shall see what she says tomorrow.
Now if she would only get her legs out of that position..I hope shes not stuck in there!

I am due today, had my 40 wk appt this afternoon and am 3cm and 50%effaced, which sounds super except taht I am still not in labor yet. Still home waiting. Contrax are more regular but not painful - but I do have a pretty bad backache that wont let up. Dr. stripped my membranes today so we'll see if that sparks anything....

I'm still here as well. Got back from the doctor today and I'm 75% effaced and 1cm dialated. The good news is that if I don't go into labor before Tuesday I am scheduled to be induced. The are feeling that the baby is larger (over 9pds already) and they don't want me to go to far past my due date. I'm hoping that she comes NOW!!
Labor Vibes to all!! Hopefully we will all be mommies very soon!
