CHI or HSI for 1" flat iron?
I still have the old purple hot tools flat iron from college  and although I don't use it that often it's really been crappy for a while. My sister has a Chi that was awesome when I used it last weekend but then I found an HSI on amazon for much cheaper. WDYT? I want to use it for straightening and beachy waves.

I've never used (or heard of) an HSI but I used the Chi for years and it's a GREAT iron!!!

I have a GHD iron that I got on Amazon for around the same price as a CHI. I love the GHD iron more than the CHI that I bought and returned.

Thanks, I actually saw that brand too but it's not nearly as discounted on amazon as CHI and HSI. I'm cheap.

I have only used a chi and it gets the job done....granted my hair is not that curly/wavy.

I have owned an HSI flat iron for quite a while now. A friend of mine owns the CHI, but I think you get more for your money's worth with the HSI (considering the Tourmaline, I'm not sure if the CHI has that).
