Help me find pics, please!
My fireplace has floor to ceiling cabinets and shelves on each side. The fireplace itself is covered in some kind of sheetrock (not original).
I want to have it all redone in a more ornate style, but I can't find very many pictures of fireplaces with floor to ceiling cabinets and shelves.
Any idea where I can look?

I had a built in entertainment center to the side of my cast stone fireplace.. is that what you mean?

Yes, that's similar to the layout I have now, but I want it redone in an ornate style. I'm having a miserable time finding photos of what I'm looking for.

I would leave the built ins alone and redo the mantel to something like this
(I have a similar cast stone mantel)
ETA that you can also do a stacked stone veneer above the mantel and that would look gorgeous as well
