Whoever recommended Phyto Phytodefrisant, Botanical Hair Relaxing Balm...

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

My hair is not thick by any means, but it's also not super thin. I guess you'd say it's average. It's also a frizzy mess. It's frizzy curly to be more accurate.

I was doing Japanese for about 7/8 years when I decided to stop because I was over the flat straight look. I tried Brazilian Keratin in early June and it's already out of my hair. I would say the Brazilian lasted 3 weeks (that's washing every other day)

Because of the recommendation on this site, I figured I'd try Phyto Phytodefrisant, Botanical Hair Relaxing Balm. I walked my a$$ in the excruciating heat to Sephora yesterday, I was THAT excited to try it.

This morning I got out of the shower, wrapped my hair in a towel, got dressed, unwrapped my hair and applied the balm. I then loosely put it in a bun and held it in place with a clip.

My hair looks AWESOME! There is NO frizz and it's wavy and pretty! You wouldn't believe the compliments I've gotten on it today.

I'm very excited to try blowing out my hair to see if it wards off the frizz then too.

I seriously can't thank you enough.. I may never dry my hair again all summer!!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon

I am going to try this before I cut my hair then. I was going to get a short bob again because it is easier but if you all you did was put this in, then I have time for it.

LOL- I recommended it! I am soo happy you and others like it. Chat Icon I felt a lot of pressure after I went on and on about how great it is. Chat Icon Chat Icon I am glad you agree!!

It is the only product I will use in my hair because I hate the residue that others leave.

Holy crap I came on here searching for the original post so I could say THANK YOU!
I have wavy hair, slightly frizzy, pretty easy to blow out but its long and pretty thick. I definitely cannot wash and go thats for sure! well I got this last week and i've used it twice so far, just a decent sized palm full, run it through my hair, and it dries so perfectly. My "curls" have some nice definition, absolutely no friz, not sticky or greasy or hard, just soft and perfect. I love love love it! Thank you so much!

I tried it today for the first time and it didn't do much, I am thinking I didn't use enough? How much do you use?

Re: Whoever recommended Phyto Phytodefrisant, Botanical Hair Relaxing Balm...

I just started to use it too. I didn't notice much difference the 1st time I let I air dry. But the seconds time I applied and then pulled it back and no frizz. The 3rd time I applied, pulled it back and later blew straight. Even today in 90+ southern humidity, barely any frizz. I think it said the more often you use, the better. I wonder if the other products in this line are as good?

I think for me to wear it down and just air dry I need to apply more....I have thick hair!

I have short, fine, curly hair, and I definitely need to apply more of this than I would of any product. It's great because it doesn't weigh your hair down at all.

Just as an FYI, Ulta has a 20% coupon floating around, and it's the one you can use on all products - so the price of the Phyto goes from $26 to $20.80! I just bought another one even though I have barely used any of my first one Chat Icon Chat Icon

I have to use more than I normally would use of other products - how long is your hair?

My hair is just past chin length, very fine and curly, and I use a quarter-size or larger blob.

Hi all! I just bought this today based on recs here! I air dry my waves and curls in the summer sao I am excited to try this. But I have a q. Did anyone notice on the bos that it says heat activated? So how does it work if I only air dry? Ty

Re: Whoever recommended Phyto Phytodefrisant, Botanical Hair Relaxing Balm...

here's my routine...

I get out of the shower and put my hair in a towel for about 10 minutes. I take towel out and brush my hair with a big paddle brush. I then put about a quarter sized dollop through my hair starting at roots. I then brush it through. I then put another dime sized amount and do the ends and crunch a little. I then twist it back in a bun.

So you wear it in a bun all day or you take the bun out?

My hair is pretty long and thick. Today i think i used too much, because it's a little crunchy in spots. I will try a medium amount tomorrow Chat Icon

I didn't see that, I didn't read the box, but it's not true. My curls look fantastic and I only air dry.

Does this stuff help define curls?

It makes them smoother, and bouncier, but it doesn't make them curlier, if that helps.

Do you think this is safe for women who are pregnant??

I'm afraid of what I'll look like in the delivery room with my thick, out-there, frizzy-a$$ hair and would love to find something that at least doesn't make me look like a freak show in our DS's first pics. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon
