amount of sleep question for 6 month olds
DS will be 6 months on July 2nd. I am worried he doesnt get enough sleep lately between the night and naps. How many hours does ur baby sleep?

during the day he takes total of 2 hours of snoozing (not staright through) and for night he sleep from about 9pm-730/8am so total 13 hours

My 5&1/2 month old has been staying up until 9:30 lately & is up between 7:30 and 8:00. He'll usually take an hour nap in the morning & maybe a half hour nap in the afternoon. I don't think he gets enough sleep. He used to go to bed at 8:00 & now he wants to stay up. I'm exhausted from the day, I don't know why he isn't.

I feel like my babies want to sleep too much...they nap anywhere from 2-3 hours during the day. Then they sleep from 6:30 to 7 am. So a total of 14 to 15.

My daughter goes down at 7:30 pm and usually wakes up at 6 am. However, during the day, I'm lucky if she sleeps for 2 hours total in naps. Unless baby is cranky, I'd say it's fine! When my daughter gets cranky late in the day b/c she hasn't napped well, I just try to put her down. We nap at 7:30 am (give or take), 11:30 ish, and then usually a cat nap after her 3:00 bottle.

DD sleeps 2-3 hours during the day, spread out between 2-3 naps and she typically sleeps from 8 to 6-7, though for the past week, she's been up at 5!

Thanks everyone! Today I have plans and now he decides to nap really long lolol. I am glad he is getting sleeping though!

DS will be 7 months next week.
He sleeps approximately 11 hours at night and 3-4 during the day split between 2 naps. So I'd say he gets 14-15 hours of sleep a day.

Total? Between 12 and 14 hours.
Nights are 730 - 6
Morning nap was 8-9
Afternoon nap was 130ish-230
Of course, some days she woke up at 7am, or didn't go to sleep until 8pm, or decided that the afternoon nap was unnecessary... so it varied.

No such thing as too much! Take a well-deserved break and enjoy the fact that you have good sleepers!!
