How much does your 2 month old eat?

and how often?

My DS has 4-4.5 oz per feeding and eats every 3 hours. Sometimes he is crying after 2.5 hrs and I feed him, I just started giving him 5oz bc he seemed unsatisfied with the 4oz but he is still looking to eat after 3 hours. If I try to give him more than 5oz. he doesnt want it...should he be going longer in between feedings or is this normal?

I want to ask the ped. about when to give some cereal in the milk.

To me this sounds normal. My DS does the same. He takes between 4-5 oz every 3-4 hrs. It's hard to predict whether he will take more than 4 so I usually make 4 and if he wants more I make it. I can't exactly remember what my DD took at this age but I think it was about the same.

When DD was 2 mo old she was steady at 4 oz, but would sometimes take an extra ounce. She would also get hungry at 2.5 hrs rather than the 3-4 hr schedule we had. I think its a growth spurt. She doubled from 2 oz to 4 oz at 7 weeks. At 12 weeks she wants closer to 6 oz and will sometimes want another oz.

My 7 week old DD takes 5oz every 3-4 hours. Sometimes after a really long nap (longer than the 4 hour stretch) she will take more like 6-7 to make up for it.
She is consistent during the day, but then tends to cluster feed at night and sometimes takes 5oz and then an hour and a half later is hungry again.

DS followed the 2 1/2 times weight rule for most of his bottle life.

If he weighed 10 pounds, he ate 25 ounces a day.
