over 40 and TTC #1?
Hi ladies....thought some of the older gals could use some support here too!
married at 37 and ttc#1 at 40yo almost 41yo..this soooooooooooo sucks!!
Anyone else 40+??

Not 40 yet, but i'm 38 and a half. But still know how u feel. Ideally i would have loved to have gotten started early, but first marriage didn't work and it took a while before Mr. Right came along. Girl in my office just had first baby at 42, and another one of our good friends just got pregnant at 41. You will get your baby!

Not #1, but I just turned 41 and I'm TTC #3. Have a 9 & 10 year old. Stilll, I feel like I'm startin over again and being so "old" I share your concerns!

Going to be 38 this year. Trying for # 1.
Always thought I would be married and have all my kids before I turned 30- just goes to show things don't always turn out as planned!

With the help of a DR I got pregnant at 43 with my first child.. Just get blood work done see where you are at in that area as far as your FSH levels and tubes .. If your all clear than you are in a great place.. Unfortunately I waited to do the test so It took alot longer.. And also have your husband get his sperm tested if he has never had children either ..Low sperm counts in men are more common than you think.
I am by no means trying to scare you or put a damper on your  I just feel as a woman who got married at 39 I needed to share this experience with you.. If you ever have any questions or need to talk you can FM me at any time .. Good luck.. Dont give up!!!!!!!

Not 40 yet, 36 and trying for my 2nd but DS is 16, so its pretty much starting all over again. I know a lot of women who got pregnant 40 and over, you will have your baby.

I'm 8 days away from my 37th b-day and we will be trying (again) for #1 very soon. My sis is going to be 40 in August and she is 3 1/2 months preggo with her 1st child.

I'm hitting my mid 30's..and DH and I are trying for our first! They say it's good to have them early in life but sometimes you can't always plan it will happen that way! My advice is don't get stressed! If you think about it and do every precaution there is out there to get pregnant you'll make yourself crazy! Take Pre-natal vitamins before you even conceive..go to the gyno to get checked out. DH I decided to TTC in January. We kept trying without me going to the dr to get checked out. Now since this will be cycle 6 and this abnormal stuff that is going on with my body I am going to see her next week. DH is saying that we probably will get pregant even faster!..lol Just relax have fun!! I wish you lots and lots of baby dust!!!

Same story for me. I have a 9 & 10 yo, and though I've gone back and forth from saying I'm done or I'm not sure, deep inside I've always had that feeling that I wasnt done--I just wasn't ready until now. I'm 41 BTW!
