I'm sorry for the venting but who acts like this?!?!
My mom and sister threw me an amazing baby shower with all my friends and family. They really went above and beyond with everything they did and are already spoiling this LO.
My mom did placecards, which worked out perfectly with the amount of women who came so there was no chaos with who was sitting where.
My crazy aunt (who married into the family and isnt exactly a favorite of anyone's) apparently didnt like where she was sitting. She complained to a few people at the shower about her table; not at anytime did she mention it to my mom or sister who placed her at that table. At the end of the shower, I saw her with her coat on and it looked like she was leaving so I went to say goodbye to her. This is when she literally pushed me out of her way to get to my dad who was behind me grabbing gifts to load the car just to complain to him about the seating arrangement; and again he had NOTHING to do with the seating chart. Plus by her pushing me it caused me to get my balance on the chair that was by me.
My dad almost ripped her head off when he saw this and my DH was outside when all of this happened putting gifts in the car but he was already uninvited her to the Baptism. I CANNOT believe the nerve of this woman almost taking a very pregnant woman out just to complain about where she sat. I'm sorry for the venting but what grown woman acts like that?!?!

That is OUT OF CONTROL. I feel like it's time to start blacklisting her from family events. She's gonna hurt someone!!!! I'm glad you're ok and hope she didn't mar your day!

My aunt did the same thing at my bridal shower. My mom wound up so upset and was nearly in tears at my shower. It was horrible.
I can't believe she pushed you! She sounds a little crazy!

WOW... Can you say CUT OFF?
I would just basically tell your uncle that he is welcome to your family functions, but his wife IS NOT. End of story. That is some seriously unacceptable behavior!!!

Yup. She's done. What a nasty witch. I'd almost be inclined to write something snarky in her thank you note for her gift....thanks so much for the pampers and for b!tching the whole time about your seat and for almost knocking me over in your tirade. Your thoughtlessness has not gone unnoticed.

Of course not, I got pushed she gave my poor dad a piece of her mind then she left. Ugh she is crazy. A few of my cousins have already cut her off the guest lists for family events b/c of other issues they personally have had. I guess now its our turn to start the cuts.

So sorry this happened...my nutty SIL started a fight with my DH about where she was sitting at our wedding the week of the wedding..we haven't seen or heard from her since...sometimes that needs to happen...it's sad, but now you know...

OH MYGOODNESS! How ridiculous. Im so sorry she did that but happy you are ok. I mean that is just out of bounds. EVen if you are not thrilled about where you sit shut up & suck it up for a few hours. GEEZ!
