Boarding
I'll be boarding our dog for the first time and wanted to know if you gals could recommend a place. TIA!
My heart breaks as I am super sad to do this to Olivia .

I don't know where you are located, but I used to take my dog to 5 Star Kennel in Baldwin. It's cageless boarding and right next to the Baldwin Animal Hospital.
Now we take him to Barrie's Inn in Woodmere which is also cageless and right next door to this indoor doggy park. They also have a login so you can view your dog online.

We use Cozy Noses in Bohemia. They were rated the #1 kennel on news 12 a few years ago.

We used to bring Darwin to our vet.
BTW, he LOVED it! He was always super excited when he got there, and the staff said he was always in a great mood. There are lots of other dogs for him to "talk" to, lots of new scents, and he got lots of attention.
Olivia may enjoy her "vacation" more than you will....

We used the Ronkonkoma Ruff House (there is also a location in Port Jeff) while we were on our HM and we liked it very much. When we only went away for 2 days, we boarded him at the vet and I wasnt happy with them. When we go away this year, my parents are watching Murphy but if they couldnt, we were going to use Petsmart's hotel in Farmingdale.
