NICE Montauk motel/ hotel
Where would you recommend? I red on here the Royal Atlantic is not the cleanist. I need CLEAN but nice too

Unfortunately nice and Montauk are two words that usually don't go together. Most places are very outdated.....
We stayed at the Beachcomber last year and had a room with a walk in closet that fit the PNP perfectly and we used it as DS's bedroom! LOL! It was nice in a 1984 way and pretty clean - not as clean as I'd like, but clean enough.... We could walk into town too.
I've also stayed at Gurney's and I DON'T recommend that place b/c they're way overpriced for the same accommodations as any other place. JMHO.... save your $$ and stay somewhere else.

We love Montauk Manor - we go at least 3 weeks each year. It's not on the beach, but very clean apartment/condo like units with nice kitchens. We hope to buy a unit within the next couple of years.

Isnt it true?!
We havent been there in 5 years but despite loving montauk's beaches and town I remember it as a little um...seedy .....
But would love to go back!

I second Montauk Manor. We stayed in one of the apartment units and it was fantastic!!! Clean, great kitchen, great bathroom, loft bedroom, fireplace, etc.
We went in september, so it was cheaper than the summer, but still so beautiful!

Part of Royal Atlantic was updated a couple of years ago and the rooms were very nice.

my friends mother is the manager of the Montauk manor. It's very nice there. I've stayed there before. very clean. Loft style rooms too, which is nice with a kid.
Atlantic Terrace is nice. Right on the beach.
